Feeding Tips

Food:

For a normal healthy Beagle this should be no problem as he will eat well on most easily obtainable dog foods, whether they be fresh, tinned or dehydrated. Indeed, it can be a problem preventing him from eating too much, so a regular meal schedule should be established with no extras in between.

Diet we feed our dogs

We purchase pet minced chicken from Leonards the chicken people in most shopping centres ( just over $1 a kilo)  then add a 1 kilo bag of mixed frozen vegetables , 500 gms of pasta and a couple of stock cubes.

Cook the mince, cook up the pasta with the stock cubes add the mince and frozen vegetables and simmer for about ten minutes then let cool and divide into about a dozen of the plastic food containers and the freeze until needed.

One container a day plus some dry dog food per dog should be plenty
